McCullum says Black Capsing positive

6:02 am on 30 November 2008

The New Zealand wicketkeeper Brendon McCullum says it will take a huge bowling effort if the Black Caps are to avoid defeat in the second cricket test at Adelaide.

Australia will resume on 241 for three in reply to New Zealand's modest 270 with Michael Hussey on 69 and Michael Clarke on 43.

McCullum says it's hugely disappointing that the Black Caps lost their last four wickets for eight runs on such a good pitch

He says Hussey's shown the New Zealand top order how to play the perfect innings.

if they can't find similar powers of concentration innings the Black Caps set for a painful defeat in and will drop to an embarrassing eighth on the ICC Test rankings, ahead of only Bangladesh.
