Lance Armstrong has confirmed he'll ride in next year's Tour de France.
Armstrong's decision to ride gives the powerhouse Astana team a strong lineup in France, including 2007 Tour winner Alberto Contador.
He missed last year's race because Astana was barred from riding for previous doping violations.
Armstrong will also compete in the Giro d'Italia in the same year - the first time he'll compete in both races in the same year.
Armstong has expressed concern about his personal safety while riding in the open roads of France and through the fans that pack the route but says it won't stop him riding.
