The return of veteran Stacey Jones has seen the Warriors release halfback Grant Rovelli a year early from his contract with the National Rugby League club.
Rovelli's announced he's signed a two year deal with North Queensland Cowboys after making 68 appearances in his three seasons with the Warriors, he's now returning to the club he initially played for as a junior.
But while Rovelli is joining the Cowboys, he and his partner Lauren will be staying in Auckland for a few more weeks yet as the couple are due to have their first baby in a couple weeks.
