The chairman of English football club Sunderland has been gracious in the wake of his Premier League manager resigning.
Sunderland dropped into the league's relegation zone last weekend and manager Roy Keane has called it quits in the wake of six losses in seven games.
Club chairman, Niall Quinn, who persuaded Keane to start his coaching career at the Stadium of Light two years ago, says his former Republic of Ireland team mate was his own harshest critic.
