The Wellington Phoenix football side has been beaten 6-1 by Adelaide United in a round 14 Australian A league game in Adealide.
Adelaide, who now lead the competition, led two nil at half time at Hindmarsh Stadium.
Fred scored for the Phoenix in the 56th minute to squeeze things up but then Adelaide burst free with Cassio scoring two goals in 12 minutes and Cristiano producing his second of the night, in the 74th minute.
Skipper Travis Dodd added a sixth in stoppage time - the first time United have tallied that many in the league.
