Finland's Ford rally driver Jari-Matti Latvala has opened up a seven second lead over world champion Sebastien Loeb to close in on victory in the Rally of Great Britain, the final event of the 2008 WRC season.
Loeb's Citroen team-mate Dani Sordo remains third.
Subaru's Petter Solberg, in fourth, could make no ground on Sordo over the afternoon stages of the second day.
