The Australian golfer Katherine Hull, ranked 30th in the world, is the first big name signing confirmed for the inaugural New Zealand Women's Open in Christchurch next month.
Hull made her breakthrough win on the LPGA Tour this year coupled with eight top-10 finishes that earned her nearly 2 million dollars.
The Open will be played at Clearwater from the 30th of January to the 2nd of February.
