The Hurricanes have showed some interest in signing up the former All Black prop Carl Hayman, if he decides to return to New Zealand.
29-year-old Hayman, shifted to English club Newcastle following last year's World Cup, but reports on both sides of the world say he is unsettled there and is considering breaking his 30-month contract early and returning home.
The Wellington CEO Greg Peters says Hayman's agent was gauging interest from New Zealand about a possible return and Peters says they are very keen....

Peters says he would not be getting anywhere near the money he commands in Newcastle.
There would be a possibility Hayman could play for Taranaki in next year's Air New Zealand Cup and then for the Hurricanes in 2010.
Hayman was born in Opunake and left the Taranaki region as a teenager.
