The New Zealand all-rounder Jacob Oram has been ruled out of the first test against the West Indies starting in Dunedin at midday.
Oram suffered a calf muscle injury at training yesterday and he's been replaced in the squad by Kyle Mills.
Oram missed the recent series against Australia through injury.
The weather is fine in Dunedin.
