The New Zealand batsman Daniel Flynn admits he had little to argue about after becoming the first New Zealand cricketer to be given out using the umpire review system.
Flynn was out for 95 as the Black Caps scored 226 for 4 when bad light ended play early on the opening day of the first Test against the West Indies in Dunedin.
When Chris Gayle's appeal for an lbw was turned down by umpire Amiesh Saheba, the bowler asked for a review and Rudi Koertzen, the third umpire, used video replays to determine that Flynn was out.
Flynn says he thought he was hit outside the line but once he looked at it again he's seen it hit me in line, so you can't really argue with it.
Gayle says he was confident Flynn was out. However as the review took some time he thought the batsman was going to get the benefit of the doubt.
Gayle says he feels the review system is something new and it can help the game.
The review system - used earlier this year in the Sri Lanka-India Test series - allows batting and bowling sides to challenge the umpire's decision, although each team is limited to three unsuccessful requests in an innings.
