World champion Lewis Hamilton says he doesn't expect Formula One to introduce a standard engine as part of plans to cut costs.

Head of motorsports world governing body Max Mosely floated the idea of teams using the same engines and gearbox's from 2010 after Honda pulled out of Formula One due to the global economic crisis.

However Hamilton says Mosely's cost cutting proposal would lower standards in the sport.
