The records continued to tumble on the final night of the national summer swim champs in Christchurch on Saturday night.
Glenn Snyders took nearly four seconds off his previous best in winning the 200m breaststroke while Taranaki's Charlotte Webby bettered the seven-year-old mark of Liz Van Welie in the 200m butterfly.
In all, 10 national records were set at the meet, while world record holder Marieke Guehrer, who was a member of the visiting Australian team, narrowly missed lowering her own mark in the 50m butterfly.
