Blackcaps captain Dan Vettori says he's not completely convinced with new third umpire review system

The New Zealand cricket captain Daniel Vettori says the experimental third umpire review system used in the Blackcaps first test against the West Indies still needs some fine tuning.

There have already been seven referalls to the third umpire throughout the rain interrupted match.

While Vettori admits the system will be good for the game he says it should only be used in situations where it's clear the umpire has made the wrong call.

He says the batsmen should continue to get the benefit of the doubt and teams should be allowed to challenge the umpires decisions only once or twice per innings.
