The New Zealand Cricket selectors have brought in the discarded pace bowler Chris Martin as injury cover for James Franklin before the second test against the West Indies.
Martin wasn't wanted for the drawn first test in Dunedin but Franklin's nursing badly bruised ribs after being hit while batting there.
And Peter Fulton joins the squad in case Ross Taylor's finger injury stops him playing in Napier from Friday.
Jacob Oram is still recovering from a calf injury and isn't available.
Meanwhile, Lindsay Crocker has been confirmed as team manager for the match and one day series.
