South Africa will make an early-morning inspection of the WACA Ground pitch in Perth before deciding whether to play spinner Paul Harris or uncapped paceman Lonwabo Tsotsobe in the first Test against Australia.
Proteas skipper Graeme Smith says Harris is almost certain to get the nod but didn't rule out the possibility of including left-arm Tsotsobe.
Australia settled on their eleven yesterday, confirming spinner Jason Krejza would join paceman Peter Siddle in the side with all-rounder Shane Watson named as 12th man.
The temperature is forecast to reach 28 degrees today, with the mercury predicted to hover in the high 20s and low 30s for the remainder of the week.
