The fifth seed Mark Nielsen has beaten the second seed Dan King-Turner to win a place in the final of the New Zealand Residential Tennis Champs on the North Shore.
Nielsen won through in a third set tiebreaker, to set up a final against the New Zealand number one Rubin Statham, who's just been granted a main draw wildcard into next month's Heineken Open.
Statham also took three sets to reach the final, beating another Aucklander Adam Thompson.
