Brown starts final Asian event with par round

The New Zealand golfer Mark Brown has started his final tournament of the year the Volvo Asian Masters in Bangkok with an even par round of 72.

Playing for the 8th consecutive week, Brown is tied for 22nd, six strokes behind the Australian Neven Basic who has a two shot lead.

India's Jeev Milkha Singh, who has topped the Asian tour money list for the year, had a miserable start on his way to a 76.
