Two New Zealand golfers earn Australiasia tour starts

The New Zealand golfers, Josh Carmichael and Hamish Robertson, have earned places on next year's PGA Tour of Australasia.

The pair have finished amongst the top 35 players competing at the 2008 PGA Tour of Australasia qualifying school event in Sydney.

Carmichael, who closed one over after the four rounds at Peninsula Country Golf Club, ended up 13th while Robertson was 30th with a plus five result.

Australian Andrew Tschudin finished first at eight-under par.

The New Zealand amateur Troy Ropiha has earned a provisional card and membership of the PGA of Australia after finishing 37th as has Clarke Osborne who ended up 44th.
