There've been wins to Central Districts and Wellington in the opening round of the State Shield one day cricket championship while the Canterbury-Otago match in Rangiora was abandoned.
Central Districts beat Auckland by five wickets with 10 overs in hand at Eden Park.
Auckland were all out for 205 in the 49th over after Steven Croft's 59 helped them recover from 108 from 7.
Matthew Sinclair top-scored for CD with an unbeaten 84 from 77 balls.
Wellington won by six wickets in Whangarei after bowling out Northern Districts for 148 in the 46th over.
Kane Williamson top-scored for the home side with 67 while Matthew Bell's 74 saw Wellington home in the 44th over.
