The Olympic Games bronze medallist Nick Willis will compete against the fastest miler of 2008 at track and field meet at QEII stadium in Christchurch in March.
Shot putt gold medallist Valerie Vili will also compete.
Willis will come up against Britain's Andrew Baddeley who won the mile at the Golden League meet in Oslo earlier this year in 3:49.38 seconds but could only manager ninth in the 1500m in Beijing.
