Tottenham target Bellamy

Harry Redknapp, the coach of English Premier League football club Tottenham Hotspur, has revealed he's interested in signing West Ham striker Craig Bellamy in the January transfer window.

Negotiations between the two clubs are believed to have started with Redknapp admitting he's keen on the former Celtic star, who joined West Ham 18 months ago for $19 million.

But West Ham coach Gianfranco Zola says he'd be "very annoyed" to lose any members of his squad in January.

Redknapp though is keen to improve his own squad in the New Year, but the Spurs boss has insisted he is not interested in paying "crazy prices" for new players.

After the departures of Robbie Keane and Dimitar Berbatov, Spurs are short of attacking options with Darren Bent, Roman Pavlyuchenko and the on-loan Fraizer Campbell the only recognised strikers available.
