CD look to continue good run

Central Districts will be looking to continue their winning ways when they take on Otago in Alexandra in the third round of the State Shield one day cricket compeition.

Central are unbeaten this season and have also had convincing victories in their first two limited overs matches with Sinclair scoring 84 not out and 92.

Otago have had a loss and a no result and will be without batsman Neil Broom who has joined the Black Caps, while CD welcome back Ewen Thompson from international duty.

Second placed Canterbury host third placed Northern Districts in Rangiora and Wellington play the winless Auckland side at the Basin Reserve.
