Australian cricket selectors stick by Mathew Hayden

The Australian cricket selectors have stuck with out of form opening batsman Mathew Hayden for the third and final test against South Africa in Sydney.

The 12 man squad has been named to face the South Africans in the dead rubber on January 3rd.

Doug Bollinger, Ben Hilfenhaus, and Andrew McDonald replace the injured trio, Brett Lee, Shane Watson and Andrew Symonds.

Chairman of selectors Andrew Hilditch says Hayden deserves to hold his spot despite a poor run with the bat.
