Seven medals for NZ paralympic swimmers

New Zealand's paralympic swimming team has finished with seven medals at the 2010 IPC World Championships with Sophie Pascoe bringing home five from the Netherlands.

The Canterbury teenager finished second in the 100 metres backstroke after claiming silver medals in the 200 medley and 50 freestyle, gold in the 100 butterfly and bronze in the 100 breaststroke.

And Auckland's Cameron Leslie won New Zealand's second gold in the 150 metres individiual medley, touching nearly seven seconds ahead of his nearest rival.

Aucklander Rebecca Dubber got the other medal, a bronze.
