A day after beating Russia, the Tall Blacks failed to covert with their last possession of the game in Croatia.
For Jordan, Sam Dahlas, the naturalized American scored 17 points, while Kirk Penney finished with 17 for New Zealand.
The Tall Blacks now return to Turkey for the World Championship which starts this weekend with the New Zealanders playing Lithuania in their opening match.
