All Blacks Benson Stanley and John Afoa have been named in the Auckland starting lineup for their NPC match against Canterbury in Christchurch on Saturday night.
They're among five changes with hooker Tom McCartney and halfback Toby Morland both resuming their starting positions after a week on the bench, while winger Charles Piutau makes his first start for Auckland as Atieli Pakalani is omitted from the 22 altogether.
In their 88 encounters against Canterbury, Auckland have won 46 times although they haven't beaten them since 2007.
