Hawke's Bay have beaten Manawatu 17-9 in Palmerston North for their first win in the provincial rugby championship.
Manawatu led 9-6 at half time, but Hawke's Bay scored the only try of the match in the second half to take the lead.
Manawatu remain winless.
Bay of Plenty host North Harbour in Rotorua in the last match of round five of the competition.
