Europe's Ryder Cup golf captain Colin Montgomerie has finalised his team to take on the United States in October by naming as his three wild card selections Ireland's Padraig Harrington, Englishman Luke Donald and the Italian Edoardo Molinari.
On a memorable day for Molinari he birdied the last three holes to win the Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles this morning, missed automatic qualification by one point, but earned his place by virtue of his win at Gleneagles, and his Scottish Open victory last month.
Molinari's brother Francesco was an automatic qualifier for the European team.
