Joseph names four new Highlanders

The Highlanders coach Jamie Joseph has added four new players, two of them rookies, as he continues to build his squad for next yewar's Super rugby season.

The New Zealand Under 20 and Wellington midfielder Shaun Treeby and the Manawatu halfback Aaron Smith have signed their first Super Rugby contracts.

Joining them are the Manawatu flanker Nick Crosswell who played for the Hurricanes this year, and the Taranaki loose forward Jarrad Hoeata, who played for the Chiefs.

Smith and Hoeata played in Joseph's New Zealand Maori side that finished the centenary season unbeaten.

Joseph the four are a a good mix of emerging talent and experience.
