Pakistan cricketers' lawyer says money doesn't prove guilt

The lawyer of the three cricketers at the centre of the Pakistani match-fixing scandal says money recovered from his clients doesn't prove any wrongdoing.

The Pakistan Test captain, Salman Butt, and bowlers Mohammad Aamer and Mohammad Asif are battling charges under the International Cricket Council's anti-corruption code.

The allegations relate to the final Test between England and Pakistan at Lord's, in which the tabloid newspaper, News of the World, said deliberate no-balls had been bowled.

England won the Test.

The three players maintain they are innocent, but have been barred from playing pending the outcome of their case.
