Titans will "play with pain"

6:57 am on 10 September 2010

Gold Coast will definitely be without one of their star players for their opening round NRL playoff against the Warriors tonight, and half a dozen others are carrying injuries which will be re-assessed today, only hours before kickoff.

The Titans match-winning fullback Preston Campbell was ruled out yesterday because of a hamstring injury he's been nursing for weeks, and the NRL's halfback of the year Scott Prince is among others carrying injuries of varying degrees.

Prince expects plenty of attention from the Warriors, but he says his shoulder injury won't make him a liability.

The Warriors will have to turn around history to win tonight. They've lost their last five matches to Gold Coast, and all three games between the two sides at Skilled Park.

The match kicks off at 10 o'clock tonight.
