Lack of supoort hurts Henderson

A lack of team support and a big climb ended the New Zealand cyclist Greg Henderson's brief hold on the Tour of Britain leaders jersey.

A day after winning the second stage and taking the overall lead, Henderson was the only Team SKY rider in an 18-rider breakway on the third stage in Wales.

Henderson struggled on the climb and couldn't mount a sprint, finishing 13th on the stage, almost 90 seconds behind the winner.

He's now 1 minute and 26 seconds behind Michael Albasini of Switzerland in second place.

A Team SKY official says a general classification win is now unlikely with the Tour finishing this weekend.

Fellow New Zealander Jack Bauer finished 8th in the stage riding for his Endura Racing team.
