Adams stars for Nottinghamshire

The former Black Cap's bowler Andre Adams has played a big part in Nottinghamshire winning the English County Cricket Championship.

Adams took 2 wickets in their last match against Lancashire to pick up an extra bowling bonus point, which was enough to give them the title on a countback over Somerset.

They finished on the same points as Somerset but took the title because of more outright wins.

Notts went into the last day of the season requiring at least nine points, and relying on Somerset and Yorkshire not winning.

Adams was the leading wicket taker in the first division with 66 wickets at an average of 22.
