The Houston Rockets' Chinese centre, 7 foot 6 inch tall Yao Ming, will be limited to half games in each NBA basketball game next season.
Yao is returning from a foot injury and the team's trainer says he'll be limited to no more than 24 minutes, a limit which will be applied strictly.
Yao will also take only a limited part in practice sessions after missing all of last season after suffering a fractured bone in his left foot and having an operation on the injury.
