Claudelands Rovers have become the first non-Auckland football club in 15 years to win the Women's Knockout trophy, taking the silverware to Hamilton with a thrilling 5-4 extra time victory over Three Kings United in the final at North Harbour Stadium.

Player of the final Olivia Chance, one of six players from Claudelands and eight overall to back-up from the FIFA U-17 World Cup, eventually sealed the dramatic win in the 114th minute, converting a penalty to complete her hat-trick, after full-time scores were locked at 4-4.
