Tensions have peaked in the controversy surrounding Pakistan's cricket tour of England with the England and Wales Cricket Board announcing their intention to sue Pakistan's Board Chairman Ijaz Butt for alleging England's players accepted a bribe to lose last weekend's third one day international at the Oval.
But in a strongly worded statement the England and Wales Board also announced that the last two games of Pakistan's tour would go ahead, despite the home team's reluctance to complete the series.
Tensions between the two sides were illustrated by an altercation in the nets between Jonathon Trott and Wahab Riaz shortly before the fourth one dayer at Lord's, and there'd been some speculation that the toss would be delayed, but the game eventually started on schedule.
Sir Ian Botham has suggested it's time Pakistan was thrown out of international cricket.
