The former Canterbury Wizards coach Michael Sharpe will act as the New Zealand men's cricket team manager for the upcoming tour of Bangladesh.
Sharpe has previously been involved in managing and coaching roles with New Zealand A, Emerging Players and New Zealand Under 19.
Dave Currie has been released to continue his role with the New Zealand Olympic Committee as Chef de Mission to the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games and will rejoin the team for the tour of India in November.
