North Harbour's beaten Manawatu 44-30 in a high-scoring national provincial rugby championship match at Albany.
Harbour scored five tries to four and led 31-11 at half-time, already securing a precious four-try bonus point in the process.
But the Turbos struck back with two converted tries after the break while their hosts could only manage two penalties in reply until the final 10 minutes, Nafi Tuitavake putting the result beyond doubt by finishing off a midfield break by fellow winger Ken Pisi.
Manawatu kept trying though, having the final say with a last-minute try to second-five Frank Bryant which also netted them a bonus point.
Harbour's win sees them climb above Hawke's Bay to 10th on the table.
