Manchester United salvage draw at Bolton

11:32 am on 27 September 2010

A sensational solo goal by Nani and a Michael Owen header salvaged a 2-2 draw for Manchester United against Bolton Wanderers in the English Premiser football league.

United's third consecutive away draw of the season meant they missed the chance to take full advantage of Chelsea's 1-0 defeat at Manchester City and Arsenal's surprising 3-2 home loss to West Bromwich Albion.

Aston Villa moved into fifth spot with a 2-1 victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Champions Chelsea have 15 points from six games with United on 12. Arsenal and City have 11 points with Villa on 10.

New Aston Villa manager Gerard Houllier's first league match in charge of the Birmingham club saw them move up into fifth place as they won 2-1 away to Midlands rivals Wolves.

In the day's other Premier League match, Stoke came from behind to win 2-1 away to Newcastle.
