The New Zealand cricketers leave for Bangladesh this afternoon for a five-match one day series that captain Dan Vettori says is important preparation for next year's World Cup
Vettori and Brendon McCullum missed the recent tri-series in Sri Lanka and the skipper says they've benefitted from a long break.
Jesse Ryder's also back, from injury in his case, and Vettori says the burly opening batsman's returned fitter and slimmer after a training camp in Brisbane.
The Black Caps have two warm-up matches next week before starting the one day series in Mirpur next Friday.
