The New Zealand women's football team isn't getting carried away by its 14-nil win against Vanuatu in the first Group A World Cup qualifying clash at North Harbour.

The Football Fern's striker, Amber Hearn lead the scoring with a five-goal haul, and says she was happy with the team's start to their 2011 World Cup qualifying campiagn.

But Hearn says the team has to put the win into perspective.

She says the teams they're playing ahve a lot less experience than the Ferns, but they can't become complacent.

Group B gets underway today, with Papua New Guinea meeting Fiji and Tonga taking on the Solomon Islands.
