Bay of Plenty can boast only a handful of players whov'e played regularly in super rugby but their coach says they go a long way on character and a great team culture.
Sean Horan returns to his home town of Wellington tonight with Bay of Plenty to start week 10 of the provincial championship knowing a fourth win in a row will consolidate the Steamers' place in the top seven.
They're seventh, with the same win loss record as Wellington but two places behind the Lions on bonus points.
And Horan says historoically they're a long way behind with only three wins over Wellington in 99 years.
