The New Zealand eventers are sixth overall and within medal range at the World Equestrian Games in Kentucky at the completion of the dressage phase of the three-day event.
A brilliant 43.3 point test from team anchor Andrew Nicholson aboard Nereo made the difference, and came on the back of youngster Clarke Johnstone and Orient Express's 43.5 point earlier performance.
