The Ipswich defender Tommy Smith has been ruled out of the All Whites international football matches against Honduras and Paraguay, with a back injury.
Smith has suffered a prolapsed disc in his lower back and won't be available for next week's matches in Auckland and Wellington.
Meanwhile, Honduras and Paraguay have confirmed their squads for the matches against New Zealand.
Paraguay's squad contains no fewer than seven players from the English and Spanish top flights including Manchester City's Roque Santa Cruz and Hercules' Nelson Valdez.
