The New Zealand swimmer, Lauren Boyle, has finished seventh in the women's 200-metre freestyle final at the Commonwealth games in Delhi.
Boyle qualified for the final in third place, and while she threatened the leaders at times, the Aucklander fell off the pace in the final 50-metre stretch.
Australia's Kylie Palmer won the gold medal with a time of 1-minute and 57-point-50 seconds.
Boyle finished in a time of 1-minute and 58-point-96 seconds.
