New Zealand womens squash players progress in Delhi

Newly-crowned New Zealand squash champion Joelle King continued her golden year by beating higher-ranked Australian Donna Urquhart in the Commonwealth Games women's singles tournament in Delhi.

21-year-old King, has this year climbed into the world's top 20 players and last month upset her countrywoman Jaclyn Hawkes in the national championship final.

12th seeded King beat the 8th seeded Urquhart 3-1 and she'll now meet 3rd seed Alison Waters of England in the quarter-finals.

7th seed Hawkes beat Low Wee Wern of Malaysia 3-1 and will now meet second-seeded Englishwoman Jenny Duncalf.

Campbell Grayson was beaten in the men's third round by a Malaysian opponent.
