No sell-out yet for Honduras game but All Whites not worried

The first football friendly between the All Whites and Honduras in Auckland on Saturday has yet to sell out, with a day to go before kick-off.

New Zealand Football needs a near-capacity crowd at North Harbour Stadium to break even in the first of the national side's two fixtures against Latin American opposition.

But organisers are confident of a big walk-up crowd or even selling the stadium out beforehand, pointing to similarly slow sales for All Blacks Tests at Harbour before it picked up nearer the game.

The All Whites captain Ryan Nelsen's sure the atmosphere will prove a big attraction - unlike rugby union games.

Nelsen says Wellington proved that with the Bahrain World Cup qualifier, football fans actually scream and cheer and shout - and if there are any Hondurans or Paraguayans at the games they'll be dancing and "doing all sorts".

Paraguay play New Zealand in the second friendly in Wellington on Tuesday.
