The New Zealand women's football team booked their place in the 2011 World Cup in Germany with an emphatic 11-nil win over Papua New Guinea in the final of the Oceania Nations Cup in Auckland.

Rosie White led the way with a four-goal haul that included two goals in each half as the Football Ferns extended their tournament tally to 50-nil from their five matches.

New Zealand join hosts Germany, England, Sweden, France, Norway, Australia, Japan and North Korea as confirmed participants in the 16 nation finals next June.

It's the third time, and the second in succession, that New Zealand has qualified for the women's World Cup.
