Moimoi ruled out of Four Nations

The New Zealand rugby league front rower Fuifui Moimoi has been ruled out of the Four Nations tournament with a broken arm.

The Kiwis doctor Simon Mayhew says Moimoi will be sidelined for at least six weeks, after scans revealed a fracture high up the radius in his right arm.

Moimoi was sent for scans after complaining of pain near his right elbow.

Moimoi has been replaced by the Penrith prop Sam McKendry, who played in all 26 Panthers games this season.

McKendry's selection gives the Kiwis three new players in their 23-man squad, after Lewis Brown and Antonio Winterstein were named in the original team on Tuesday.

The Kiwis play a one-off Test against Samoa on Saturday, before starting their Four Nations campaign against England on Wellington the following week.
