The New Zealand V8 Supercar driver Jason Richards set the quickest lap time in the final warm-up session at the Bathurst 1000.
If Richards had set that time in Saturday's top-10 shootout, he would've been starting fifth on the grid.
But Richard missed qualifying after crashing the Team BOC Holden into the fence at Forrests Elbow early yesterday, and will start last from the pit lane.
The 161-lap race is underway.
